European shares on track for first monthly decline in six
European markets are set for a monthly fall as global bond yields pressure stocks, according to Business Recorder.

Business Recorder reports that European shares are heading for their first monthly loss in six months. This is due to inflation risks from the Middle East war, which have driven up global bond yields and borrowing costs.
On the day, the STOXX 600 index was up slightly. However, it is set to close the month down 1.5% and end the third quarter nearly flat.
The report notes that a surge in bond yields has put pressure on stocks. Meanwhile, Britain's economy grew faster than previously estimated last quarter, and France's September inflation was higher than expected. German inflation data is due later.
