IGI Holdings completes Rs15.25bn acquisition of Akzo Nobel Pakistan

IGI Holdings Limited, through its subsidiary IGI Investments (Private) Limited, has completed the acquisition of a 98.31% stake in Akzo Nobel Pakistan Limited. According to a filing to the Pakistan Stock Exchange reported by Business Recorder, the purchase price was Rs15.246 billion.

The transaction, which followed clearance from the Competition Commission of Pakistan, was finalised on 30 September 2026. Akzo Nobel Pakistan manufactures decorative paints and industrial coatings.

IGI Investments also stated its intention to acquire the remaining 1.69% of shares held by minority shareholders through separate arrangements.
