Manchester City's Premier League charges remain unresolved

Dawn reports that Manchester City's legal battle with the Premier League is still unresolved. The Athletic first reported that the club was found guilty of all but one of the 115 financial misconduct charges it faced.

No sanction has yet been approved, and should one be issued, the club is almost certain to appeal. In a statement, the club's chairman said their confidence in proving innocence remains strong.

The case stems from a 2018 investigation launched after reports by German outlet Der Spiegel. Rival clubs are reportedly preparing legal action seeking compensation.
