Pakistan calls on Taliban to move away from 'militant mindset'

Pakistan's Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has urged Afghanistan's Taliban government to abandon what he called a 'militant mindset' and take a more responsible approach. He made the remarks while addressing a seminar in Islamabad, as reported by Geo News.

Minister Tarar described Afghanistan's circumstances as "highly complex." He stated that Pakistan believes in peace and peaceful coexistence with its neighbour.

The information minister also noted that Kabul holds significant potential, according to the Geo News report.
