Pakistani special forces took part in joint training exercise in Uzbekistan

According to PTV, special forces from Pakistan's armed forces participated in the multinational exercise Eternal Brotherhood-5, held in Uzbekistan from September 13 to 25, 2026. Turkiye, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan also took part, while Kazakhstan attended as an observer country.

State media reported the joint exercise aimed to enhance cooperation, communication and professional capabilities among the special forces. The participating forces exchanged experiences on modern operations, combat strategies and ways to address security challenges.

PTV said the exercise reflects growing defence and security cooperation and mutual trust among the participating countries. Pakistan routinely conducts joint training exercises with friendly nations.
